The Faraglioni are the trademark of Capri, three majestic rocky stacks that rise from the water and deserve to be admired from the sea. The boat always sails under the arch of the Faraglione di mezzo: it is said that, if you kiss there, you will be blessed.

Grotta Azzurra

Grotta Azzurra is one of Capri's must-see spots. It owes its fame and name to its electric blue waters which light up the entire cave with their reflections. Known since the time of Emperor Tiberius who made it his marine nymphaeum for centuries, sailors have fed legends of ghosts and demons inhabiting it.

The Piazzetta is the heart of the island's social life. The distinctive wicker chairs where one can sit and enjoy a coffee or a cocktail and the fame of the celebrities who still populate it have made it over time an iconic meeting place and have given it the reputation of being the "Living Room of the World". From the Piazzetta, you can walk down Via Camerelle, the most significant shopping street in Capri.

Villa Lysis lega la sua storia a quella del Conte Fersen, che qui visse segretamente il suo amore, finito poi in tragedia. Un sentiero naturalistico collega Villa Lysis a Villa Jovis, dimora dell’imperatore romano Tiberio e più importante sito archeologico di Capri.

Marina Piccola è la baia con vista sui Faraglioni. Secondo alcune teorie, sarebbe anche il luogo dove si trovavano le terribili sirene narrate da Omero nell’Odissea. Scendendo le scalette di Via Mulo, si trova la scalinata che conduce alla spiaggia di ciottoli e alla Chiesa di S. Andrea.

Via Tragara è una delle vie più pittoresche di Capri. Dal suo belvedere parte il sentiero del Pizzolungo, da cui si ammirano i Faraglioni. Proseguendo fino all’Arco Naturale, si trova Villa Malaparte.

Chairlift, Monte Solaro and Hermitage of Cetrella

Monte Solaro is the highest and most panoramic point of the island, reachable by chairlift. From its terraces, the Faraglioni, the center of Capri and even the Sorrento Peninsula are clearly visible. From here, after having admired the landscape, you can make a detour to visit the Hermitage of Cetrella, famous for its vegetation and the little church of Santa Maria.

The Gardens and Via Krupp were both commissioned by Friedrich Alfred Krupp. The scenic route was built to easily reach, from the suite of the Grand Hotel Quisisana, his yacht moored in the Bay of Marina Piccola. The Gardens belonged to his properties: he intended to build his residence there. Nowadays they host the main species of plants and flowers of the island.

Ignazio Cerio Museum

The Centro Caprense Ignazio Cerio, created by Edwin Cerio and his sister-in-law Mabel Norman, is a place that collects the history of the island and its origins. If you visit it, you will be taken on an authentic journey through time.
